Hi CGG! Long time no see! Haven't gone to the pass 2 meetings cos i've been rushing through the essays and assignments and what have you! Anyway, just dropping in to say hello. And if you guys were wondering if i was still alive, i AM! haha. and i'm FINALLY down with ALL of my assignments! Yay! After I finish typing this, I'm off to school to drop off my assignment and the mountain of books I borrowed! It'll feel SOOOO good man! Thank God for carrying me through!
For all the rest of you who are still struggling with revision and all, do not give up hope! Constantly rely on HIM because u know He'll bring you through. He brought me through, and now it's your turn to let Him carry you through.
Anyway, i'm off to sunny singapore island on friday! Boy am i excited! Absolutely can't wait! Neverthelss, I just say my byebyes to all of you. Esp to Ruth and Katelyn!
Ruth- You've been a really good CGL this year. You coped with CG stress really well and I've learnt so much from you this time round. You're gifted with interpreting the Word and being able to cross-reference verses--i think that's really somethiing so amazing. Although i've only been to 1 bible study prep, it was an extremely meaningful and mind triggering one! Thank u so much for that. Nevertheless, u'll be bk in sunny singapore soon as well. I shall call u out for coffee soon! give me your mobile number ok?
Ketelyn- Katelyn!! I'm extremely encouraged by your regular visits to OCF! Cultural barrier obviously wasn't a problem for you, and u glued in really well with us. I really enjoyed talking to u, learning about ur culture, your american lifestyle etc. It really gave me great insights. I would love to visit you in the states some time. New Jersy it is! :) Have fun during the rest of your time in Aussie and I hope we've given you good memories to bring back to the states. Innocence at its best
A boss wondered why one of his most valued employees had phoned in sick one day.
Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he dialed
the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's
whisper.
"Hello?"
"Is your daddy home?" he asked.
"Yes," whispered the small voice.
"May I talk with him?"
The child whispered, "No."
Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, "Is your
Mummy there?"
"Yes."
"May I talk with her?"
Again the small voice whispered, "No."
Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss
asked, "Is anybody else there?"
"Yes," whispered the child, "a policeman."
Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss
asked, "May I speak with the policeman?"
"No, he's busy", whispered the child.
"Busy doing what?"
"Talking to Mummy and Daddy and the Fireman," came the whispered answer.
Growing more worried as he heard what sounded like a helicopter
through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, "What is that
noise?"
"A hello-copper" answered the whispering voice.
"What is going on there?" demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive.
Again, whispering, the child answered, "The search team just landed
the hello-copper."
Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, "What are
they searching for?"
Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle:
"ME."

HOPE
Hi guys! I was wondering if any of you took down notes from yesterday's Pastor-Miso-sermon on hope?
If possible, could I have a look at it. I felt yesterday's sermon was very in-context and I really wish to keep it with me. However, my thoughts are all over the place and I hope i'd have some 'writings' to back up my thoughts. Errr, yea. Hehe. Do get back to me!

Steamboat Saturday!!!
I tried to search up in wikipedia the term "steamboat".. and this was the results of my search *click* lol.. Steamboat.... when you think about it... the ones we have back home look almost like a ship.. with the bowl shape and the tall gas-emitting thingy....
Anyways.. for those who are not sure what are the ingredients to buy/bring... Heres a wiki entry to *hotpot* which is the more "accepted" term for steamboat!!

I've got plenty of invites so if theres anyone who doesn't have a google/gmail account.. please mention it in the comments column. All members can post messages in this blog.. ummm if theres any question, just ask me.
ALSO, just want to introduce everyone to Divshare.. its a website that allows you to upload an unlimited.. i repeat, UNLIMITED amounts of files (including videos and pictures as long as under 200MB). Our cell group has its own Divshare club. All you need to do is request for membership. So far all the pictures I've taken are uploaded there.
And now just a random picture:
